West Coast Solutions (WCS) is proud to announce the delivery of the prototype Lightweight Expeditionary Power System (LEPS) to the United States Marine Corps (USMC) via the Lightweight Energy Storage System Program. LEPS is a military-rugged, all-in-one power scavenging, energy storage, and power supply system with 2 kW power handling capacity and 3 kWh of advanced lithium-ion battery storage. WCS president Carl Kirkconnell, had this to say about the important delivery milestone: “We hope to one day provide many more units to the Marines to help them get the power they need in the deepest reaches of the world.
